OnSite Services - Flow Surveys - OnSite Live

The Future of Flow Surveys
OnSite has been carrying out short-term flow surveys for the UK utilities since 1984. During this time the procedures have remained largely unchanged, being based on the WRc Guide to Short Term Flow Surveys, written in 1987.
Computer modelling technology has developed significantly during this time, along with the equipment used to measure flows in sewer systems. Additionally, the prevalence of high-coverage, low-cost mobile data connections means the time has now come to apply advances in technology to short-term surveys.
OnSite Live has been developed with this in mind, and using our OS series of flow and rainfall monitoring equipment, and the application of RADAR rainfall, OnSite is now able to provide the end user with more timely, accurate data, without increasing costs. Remote communication and exception mode maintenance also facilitates a reduction in carbon footprint, less confined space entry, and a reduced impact on TMA.
Using the internet provides the end user with a future-proofed platform, without the need to invest in expensive software licenses.
