Civil Engineering
In April 2008 OnSite Central started a civil engineering division.
This division complements the operations of, in particular, the Culvert Cleaning department and also the CCTV and Drainage Services departments. In fact, at the conception stage, it was felt that at times of flooding or culvert collapse the company could provide a “one stop shop” for customers that wanted the problem solved and corrected.
The division carries out all types of civil engineering works but in particular that which revolves around canals, small rivers and general drainage works. The construction work can also involve other members of the OnSite Group, e.g. Portadam, Premier Pipe, Perco and IWS. This gives us the expertise to call upon when involved in something different or out of the ordinary. Thus we can offer to our clients a complete solution to the problem.
Since April 08 the division’s work has included earthworks, culvert rebuild, culvert lining, culvert grouting, fencing and headwall works and penstock replacement / refurbishment.
Our clients have included British Waterways, Birmingham City Council, Severn Trent Select, Long Lartin Prison, the Environment Agency and other, private clients.
Although the division primarily works in the Midlands, we have worked in South and North Wales, Guildford, Wigan and Exeter.
